At the center of the francophone community

The Centre du patrimoine is located at 340 Provencher Boulevard in Saint-Boniface, Winnipeg’s francophone district.  Attached to the Centre culturel franco-manitobain, at the corner of Provencher Boulevard and Des Meurons Street, the Centre du patrimoine is a fifteen-minute walk from several historical sites including the Saint-Boniface Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Residence, the Saint-Boniface Museum, the Maison Gabrielle-Roy, and The Forks National Historic Site.


We are presently open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm with limited access.

Genealogy: drop-off and pick-up services only.
Archival research: by appointment only.

Hours of Operation:

Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

In 2020, we will be CLOSED January 1st, February 17th, April 10th to 13th (inclusively), May 18th, July 1st, August 3rd, September 7th, October 12th and November 11th.

We will also be CLOSED for the holidays from noon December 24th 2020 until January 3rd, 2021 (inclusively).
