You can apply for membership in person or online.

• Consult archival fonds and collections at no charge
• Be invited to SHSB events (openings, conferences, AGM)
• Consult genealogical resources on the internet (on site only)
• Receive the annual report of the SHSB
• Vote at the SHSB annual general meetings

Please note that if you wish to order a Proof of Métis Ancestry Search or a Genealogy Book, visit the Genealogy section of our website.

You do not need to be a member of the SHSB to order a genealogy book.
