Are you looking for information on Franco-Manitoban and Métis heritage or would you like to discuss heritage issues pertaining to Franco-Manitoban and Métis heritage? Then this Blog is for you. The Centre du patrimoine Blog provides members with an interactive space to raise awareness of the activities of the Société historique de Saint-Boniface, the Centre du patrimoine and all aspects of Franco-Manitoban and Métis heritage in general. This billboard, which can be viewed by all visitors to our site, presents views on:

  • The promotion and preservation of archives;
  • New exhibits of archival documents;
  • Various products using archives;
  • New acquisitions at the Centre du patrimoine;
  • The promotion of built heritage;
  • Recent articles raising issues pertaining to Franco-Manitoban and Métis heritage;
  • Current events in which heritage plays a major role.

The Centre du patrimoine is now subscribed to Disqus. For each result that you obtain upon completing a search in our online database, you have the possibility to make a comment, offer a correction to a photograph or other document's description, add pertinent information or help complete the description by giving us information (name, date, place, etc.). You also can add an anecdote as long as it helps to better understand the circumstances around the creation of the document.
