Donate archives to the Centre du patrimoine

The archives housed at the Centre du patrimoine document all aspects of the life past and present of the francophone and Métis populations of Manitoba. With the archives of most of the associations which were or are active in Manitoba, one also finds writings, correspondence, photographs, moving images, maps and posters of individuals which were donated over time. In fact, the Centre du patrimoine is the only provincial institution specifically mandated to acquire archives of Manitoba francophones and Métis. If you have documents which could be of interest for documenting the history of francophones and Métis in Manitoba and Western Canada, consider donating them to the Centre du patrimoine. In order to get started, you can read the guide (in French) or contact us.
