According to your preference, you can choose to:

1) Help us pay for the installation of mobile shelving to replace stationary shelving in one of the Centre du patrimoine’s two vaults, an improvement which will significantly increase its storage capacity of archival collections;

2) Make a long term investment in the preservation and dissemination of archives by donating to the Société historique de Saint-Boniface Endowment Fund held by Francofonds, but administered by the Winnipeg Foundation for three (3) years.

In December 2017, the Province announced the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program, a $5M donation matching program in support of small and medium sized museums and archives centres in Manitoba. Thanks to this program, the impact of your gift is increased by adding up to one dollar ($1) for every two dollars ($2) you donate to the new Société historique de Saint-Boniface Endowment Fund, held by Francofonds, but administered by The Winnipeg Foundation from April 1, 2018, to March 31, 2021. Through this matching program, the Société historique de Saint-Boniface has access to a minimum of $25,000, and up to a maximum of $85,000, in matching funds during this three-year period. To that end, the Society has signed a three-party agreement with The Winnipeg Foundation, which the province has entrusted with the management of the matching program, and Francofonds

Please note that The Winnipeg Foundation will be accepting the donations to the Société historique de Saint-Boniface Endowment Fund and will emit the official donation receipts. At the end of the matching program in 2021, this fund will be collapsed and the donations, matching dollars and revenues generated by the fund will be transferred to the Centre du patrimoine Endowment Fund or its Religious Sub Fund at Francofonds

For donations to be endowed, you can directly donate on The Winnipeg Foundation website by choosing the Société historique de Saint-Boniface Fund in the Endow Manitoba pages of the Foundation. If your donation is made out to Francofonds or the Société historique de Saint-Boniface, we will transfer it to The Winnipeg Foundation, which will send you your official receipt.

If your donation is made towards the mobile shelving project, it’s the Société historique de Saint-Boniface that will send you your official receipt.
